There will be no departure meeting for these trips. They are bus trips and are very casual. Plan for the weather. It will
likely be warm. Bring a hat, wear comfortable walking shoes. Luggage handling is included. You will be responsible for

More Trips I’m considering for 2026… or beyond!
Looking for input…

I usually plan 1 trip to Branson each year. I have, in the past, alternated between a fall trip and then the
next year offered a trip during the Christmas season. Some people seem to prefer slightly warmer weather
in September and not so much Christmas all at once. In 2024, we did a Branson Christmas Trip in
November. It sold out and we had a wait list. When planning for 2025, I was thinking it would be a fall trip.
However, I received many calls asking if it would be a Christmas trip in 2025 because so many were on a
wait list for 2024 or people couldn’t go that year. So, I was swayed and offered a Branson Christmas trip
again this year. It has sold out and once again we have a wait list. I am already getting some calls about
offering a Branson Christmas trip in 2026 because the Sight and Sound Theater is bringing back A Miracle
of Christmas in 2026. So, here I am trying to decide what to do!
I was leaning toward offering the fall trip in 2026 since it has been 2 years of Christmas in a row. Since
I try to listen to the wishes of the travelers, I’m asking for your thoughts. For those of you who like going to
Branson, please let me know what you’d prefer for 2026.

Offer both next year – if there has been a wait list the past 2 years, maybe there is enough interest
for two trips.

Other trip plans and questions I’ve been getting…

The Victoria Playhouse in Petrolia will be announcing their 2026 Season in November. So, yes I will likely
be offering many of their shows next year.

Going to Purple Rose in Chelsea is also something we do each year depending on the shows. Most of
their shows have a content warning such as * Contains adult language and subject matter. I do include
this in my newsletter so you are aware before signing up for a trip.

This is a 15-day trip to South Africa including Victoria Falls & Botswana. This particular trip is designed as a small
group exploration with 8 wildlife safaris, 2 National Parks, Cape Winelands, Cape Town, Table Mountain and more.

unique experience, the space available is considered a small group and will be limited to 19 people. Visas, vaccines, and

Route 66 will be 100 years old in 2026.
The trip will be taken by motorcoach and will travel through Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, New
Mexico, Arizona and California. While the route will be the same going west and returning eastbound, we will stop in
different places and see different roadside attractions in each direction. This will keep the trip fresh even though we
will be traveling the same highway. I created a new word… ALAWAH! This stands for As Long As We Are Here! 
So a location may not be specific to Route 66, but as long as we are here, we will stop! Places such as the St Louis Arch, the
Oklahoma Memorial, and a few other locations! We will take advantage of the ALAWAH stops!
