at the 2025 Stratford Festival. This will be a long day but you will get your fill of Ann, Annie and Anne (with an E).
“Annie” has reigned as one of the world’s most beloved family musicals since its original six-year Broadway run.
Annie Bennett is the iconic mop-topped orphan who knows the sun will come out tomorrow for her, no matter how dark
it gets today. (Even if “today” is under the domain of Miss Hannigan, the caretaker of the orphanage and an over-the-
top misopedist.) When Annie and her scrappy dog, Sandy, are taken in by the secretary of the billionaire Oliver
Warbucks, the girl’s lifelong search to find her birth parents sets off a chain of wacky, heartwarming adventures.
“Anne of Green Gables” Generations of readers have fallen in love with Lucy Maud Montgomery’s timeless tale of
imagination, resilience and the transformative power of love. When freckle-faced orphan Anne Shirley arrives in Avonlea,
she has little more than the clothes on her back. Soon her vivid imagination, fiery temper and tenacious spirit win over
her adoptive parents and schoolmates, including her arch nemesis, Gilbert. In this playful take on the beloved classic
novel, audiences meet Anne illuminated by her signature charm and irrepressible glory.
This trip includes the motorcoach transportation, tickets for both shows, and dinner.

Cost: $85.00 per person
Departure: 1:15 p.m. from Clio Kmart

Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m in Therapy, returns to the Macomb Center with a festive twist in My Mother’s Italian,
My Father’s Jewish and I’m Home for the Holidays.
A time of peace—a time of joy—a time of remembering why you left home in the first place. Solomon is back with
more wild and hilarious stories and characterizations about his family, friends and the other folks we meet whose sole
purpose was to drive him into therapy in the first place. You’ll hear stories of holiday dinner at Grandma’s where, if you’re
under 55, you still sit at the children’s table and 35 over-fed people compete for one toilet! It’s another hilarious
performance of family chaos, celebrating the season when we often hear: peace on earth, goodwill towards men,
batteries not included and where’s the plunger?
Join us at the Macomb Center for Performing Arts for the 3:00 p.m. matinee. There will be no meal stop as this is a
mid-afternoon show.

Lancaster – Joshua is featured for 2026!
The Sight and Sound Theatre has announced that their show for 2026 will be Joshua! I have set aside the week of
July 13 – 16, 2026 for this trip. I am still working on other details and inclusions. Watch for updates in October !!
Be strong and courageous – From the banks of the Jordan River to the towering walls of Jericho, JOSHUA is a
miraculous adventure for the whole family. Journey alongside the people of Israel as they navigate their new-
found freedom in an unforgiving wilderness. When Joshua is called to replace Moses as their faithful leader, tensions
mount in the midst of dwindling supplies and approaching armies. With one last fortified city standing between the
Israelites and the Promised Land, unexpected help emerges from behind enemy lines and Joshua’s trust in God’s plan is
put to the ultimate test.
Experience one of the most redemptive stories of the Bible as it comes to life in this brand-new original stage
production from Sight & Sound Theatres.
Let me know if you are interested so I can purchase tickets for other shows like we did this past year.
